The Anti-PKM1-Specific Antibody (CAB21052) is a powerful tool for researchers studying the pyruvate kinase M1 (PKM1) isoform, an enzyme involved in glycolysis and cell metabolism. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to PKM1 and has been validated for use in multiple applications, including Western blotting and immunohistochemistry.PKM1 is known for its role in regulating cellular energy production and metabolism, making it a key player in cancer research and metabolic disorders.
By targeting PKM1, researchers can gain valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying these conditions and potentially develop new therapeutic strategies. With its high reactivity and specificity, the Anti-PKM1-Specific Antibody is an essential tool for scientists investigating PKM1 and its implications in disease pathology. Whether studying cancer metabolism, metabolic diseases, or cellular metabolism, this antibody provides accurate and reliable results to advance research in this field.
Product Name:
PKM1-specific Monoclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB21052
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 350-450 of human PKM1 (NP_001193728.1).
This gene encodes a protein involved in glycolysis. The encoded protein is a pyruvate kinase that catalyzes the transfer of a phosphoryl group from phosphoenolpyruvate to ADP, generating ATP and pyruvate. This protein has been shown to interact with thyroid hormone and may mediate cellular metabolic effects induced by thyroid hormones. This protein has been found to bind Opa protein, a bacterial outer membrane protein involved in gonococcal adherence to and invasion of human cells, suggesting a role of this protein in bacterial pathogenesis. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding a few distinct isoforms have been reported.
