Description
Phospho-KIT-Y719 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (CABP0586)
The Anti-Phospho CD117 (c-Kit Y719) Antibody (CABP0586) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the phosphorylated form of the c-Kit protein, which plays a critical role in cell signaling and development. This polyclonal antibody, generated in rabbits, has high specificity for phosphorylated CD117 and is validated for use in techniques such as Western blot and immunohistochemistry.Phosphorylation of the c-Kit protein at the Y719 site is known to be important for its activation and function in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. By targeting this specific phosphorylation site, researchers can gain insights into the signaling pathways regulated by c-Kit and its role in various physiological and pathological conditions.
The Anti-Phospho CD117 (c-Kit Y719) Antibody (CABP0586) is a powerful tool for investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying c-Kit signaling and its potential implications in diseases such as cancer, leukemia, and mastocytosis. Its ability to specifically detect phosphorylated CD117 makes it an essential reagent for studies aimed at understanding the complex interplay of signaling pathways involving the c-Kit receptor.

This gene encodes a receptor tyrosine kinase. This gene was initially identified as a homolog of the feline sarcoma viral oncogene v-kit and is often referred to as proto-oncogene c-Kit. The canonical form of this glycosylated transmembrane protein has an N-terminal extracellular region with five immunoglobulin-like domains, a transmembrane region, and an intracellular tyrosine kinase domain at the C-terminus. Upon activation by its cytokine ligand, stem cell factor (SCF), this protein phosphorylates multiple intracellular proteins that play a role in in the proliferation, differentiation, migration and apoptosis of many cell types and thereby plays an important role in hematopoiesis, stem cell maintenance, gametogenesis, melanogenesis, and in mast cell development, migration and function. This protein can be a membrane-bound or soluble protein. Mutations in this gene are associated with gastrointestinal stromal tumors, mast cell disease, acute myelogenous leukemia, and piebaldism. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
