The Anti-PGE Receptor EP4 (PTGER4) Antibody (CAB20295) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the prostaglandin E2 receptor EP4, a G protein-coupled receptor known for its role in inflammation, immune response, and cancer progression. This polyclonal antibody, generated in rabbits, has been optimized for use in various applications, including Western blot and immunohistochemistry. The antibody specifically targets the PTGER4 protein, enabling researchers to detect and analyze its expression in different cell types and tissues. Understanding the function of PTGER4 is essential for investigating its involvement in various physiological and pathological processes, such as pain perception, gastrointestinal protection, and tumor growth.
By utilizing the Anti-PGE Receptor EP4 (PTGER4) Antibody (CAB20295), researchers can further explore the molecular mechanisms underlying PTGER4-mediated signaling pathways and potentially identify new therapeutic targets for treating inflammatory disorders and cancer. Its high reactivity with human samples and reliable performance make it a valuable addition to any laboratory focused on immunology, pharmacology, or oncology research.

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-488 of human PGE receptor EP4 (PTGER4) (P35408).
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor family. This protein is one of four receptors identified for prostaglandin E2 (PGE2). This receptor can activate T-cell factor signaling. It has been shown to mediate PGE2 induced expression of early growth response 1 (EGR1), regulate the level and stability of cyclooxygenase-2 mRNA, and lead to the phosphorylation of glycogen synthase kinase-3. Knockout studies in mice suggest that this receptor may be involved in the neonatal adaptation of circulatory system, osteoporosis, as well as initiation of skin immune responses.
