The NRAS Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7566) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the NRAS protein, a critical component in cell signaling pathways involved in cell growth and proliferation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity for human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications.NRAS is a member of the RAS family of oncogenes, mutations of which are frequently associated with various cancers, including melanoma, leukemia, and colorectal cancer. By targeting the NRAS protein, researchers can gain insight into the mechanisms underlying cancer development and progression.
This antibody enables precise detection and analysis of NRAS expression in different cell types, making it ideal for studies in oncology and cancer biology.Understanding the role of NRAS in tumor growth and metastasis is crucial for developing targeted therapies that can effectively disrupt oncogenic signaling pathways. By utilizing the NRAS Polyclonal Antibody in their research, scientists can further elucidate the molecular mechanisms driving cancer progression, ultimately leading to the identification of novel therapeutic strategies for the treatment of cancer.

This is an N-ras oncogene encoding a membrane protein that shuttles between the Golgi apparatus and the plasma membrane. This shuttling is regulated through palmitoylation and depalmitoylation by the ZDHHC9-GOLGA7 complex. The encoded protein, which has intrinsic GTPase activity, is activated by a guanine nucleotide-exchange factor and inactivated by a GTPase activating protein. Mutations in this gene have been associated with somatic rectal cancer, follicular thyroid cancer, autoimmune lymphoproliferative syndrome, Noonan syndrome, and juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia.
