Description
N4-acetylcytidine/ ac4C Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (CAB18806)
The Anti-N4-Acetylcytidine (ac4C) Antibody (CAB18806) is a powerful tool for researchers studying the epitranscriptomics modification N4-acetylcytidine (ac4C) in RNA molecules. This antibody, developed through immunization of rabbits, offers high sensitivity and specificity for detecting ac4C modifications in RNA samples, particularly in human cells.Ac4C modification in RNA has been found to play a crucial role in regulating gene expression and RNA metabolism. This antibody enables researchers to explore the role of ac4C in various biological processes, such as translation, RNA stability, and cellular signaling pathways.
Its application in techniques like immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation, and ELISA allows for detailed analysis of ac4C-modified RNA in different cellular contexts.By using the Anti-N4-Acetylcytidine (ac4C) Antibody (CAB18806), researchers can gain valuable insights into the functional significance of ac4C modifications in RNA and their impact on biological processes. This antibody serves as a valuable tool for studying epitranscriptomics and advancing our understanding of RNA regulation in health and disease.

Here we describe a chemical method for nucleotide resolution sequencing of N4-acetylcytidine (ac4C), a highly conserved modified nucleobase whose formation is catalyzed by the essential cytidine acetyltransferase enzyme NAT10. This approach enables the sensitive, PCR-amplifiable detection of individual ac4C sites from nanograms of unfractionated cellular RNA. The sensitive and quantitative nature of this assay provides a powerful tool to understand how cytidine acetylation is targeted, profile RNA acetyltransferase dynamics, and validate the sites and stoichiometry of ac4C in novel RNA species
