The MSP/MST1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB0109) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the MSP/MST1 protein, a key regulator of cell growth and survival pathways. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the MSP/MST1 protein, researchers can detect and analyze its expression in a variety of cell types, making it ideal for investigations in cancer biology and cell signaling pathways.
MSP/MST1, also known as macrophage stimulating protein, is involved in various cellular processes such as cell proliferation, migration, and differentiation. Dysregulation of MSP/MST1 has been linked to cancer development and progression, making it a promising target for therapeutic interventions. By understanding the role of MSP/MST1 in disease, researchers can potentially develop novel treatments for cancer and other related disorders.
Product Name:
MSP/MST1 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB0109
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 1-100 of human MSP/MST1 (NP_066278.3).
The protein encoded by this gene contains four kringle domains and a serine protease domain, similar to that found in hepatic growth factor. Despite the presence of the serine protease domain, the encoded protein may not have any proteolytic activity. The receptor for this protein is RON tyrosine kinase, which upon activation stimulates ciliary motility of ciliated epithelial lung cells. This protein is secreted and cleaved to form an alpha chain and a beta chain bridged by disulfide bonds.
