Description
Anti-Mouse IL-1β In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin
Introducing the Anti-Mouse IL-1 In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin from Assay Genie, a highly specific monoclonal antibody tailored for in vivo applications. This antibody targets the IL-1 protein, a pivotal mediator in inflammatory responses, making it an essential tool for research in immunology and inflammatory diseases. With a custom isotype ensuring high purity and low endotoxin levels (<1.0 EU/mg), it is perfect for ELISA, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and other assays. Available in various sizes, it is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline for optimal stability and efficacy.
Elevate your research with this dependable and versatile antibody. IL-1, a critical cytokine in the immune system, is involved in various cellular activities including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. It plays a central role in the regulation of immune and inflammatory responses and is synthesized by a number of cells, including macrophages, epithelial cells, and endothelial cells. By targeting IL-1, this antibody provides a powerful means to study and potentially modulate inflammatory pathways in vivo.

Interleukin 1 beta (IL1 beta) is a proinflammatory cytokine belonging to IL1 family that is synthesized as a precursor. The IL1 beta precursor form is not biologically active. It is expressed mainly by stimulated macrophages and monocytes.1,2 IL1 beta is known to be a mediator in inflammatory response and to be involved in a variety of cellular activities, proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis. It has been recently found that IL1 beta is a major cause of severe inflammation in the mouse model of Crohns disease which makes IL1 beta an important target for this disease.3. The B122 antibody has been reported to neutralize the bioactivity of natural or recombinant IL-1β.
