Description
Anti-Mouse CTLA-4 (CD152) In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin
Introducing the Anti-Mouse CTLA-4 (CD152) In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin from Assay Genie, a highly specific monoclonal antibody meticulously designed for in vivo applications.
This antibody targets the CTLA-4 protein, a pivotal immune checkpoint receptor involved in downregulating immune responses, making it indispensable for research in immunology, particularly in the study of T-cell functions and immune regulation. With a rat IgG isotype, this antibody guarantees high purity and low endotoxin levels (<1.0 EU/mg), ensuring optimal performance in various applications including ELISA, flow cytometry, and functional assays. Available in multiple sizes, it is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline to maintain stability and efficacy. Elevate your research potential with this dependable and versatile antibody. CTLA-4, also known as CD152, is expressed on the surface of activated T-cells and regulatory T-cells (Tregs). It is crucial in maintaining immune homeostasis by delivering inhibitory signals to T-cells, thereby preventing overactivation and autoimmunity. By targeting this key regulatory molecule, the Anti-Mouse CTLA-4 In Vivo Antibody from Assay Genie provides a powerful tool for advancing your research in immune modulation and therapeutic interventions.

CTLA-4 is a 33 kD member of the Ig superfamily similar to CD28 in amino acid sequence, structure, and genomic organization. CTLA-4 is a protein receptor that functions as an immune checkpoint and downregulates immune responses. It is involved in the development of protective immunity and thymocyte regulation, in addition to the induction and maintenance of immunological tolerance. CTLA-4 has therapeutic potential both as an agonist to reduce immune activity, and an antagonist to increase immune activity.
