Description
Anti-Mouse CTLA-4 [9H10] In Vivo Antibody - Ultra Low Endotoxin
Introducing the Anti-Mouse CTLA-4 [9H10] In Vivo Antibody - Ultra Low Endotoxin from Assay Genie, a powerful monoclonal antibody specifically designed for in vivo applications. This antibody targets the CTLA-4 protein, which plays a critical role in the regulation of immune responses, making it an essential tool for immunology and related research fields. With a rat IgG2b isotype, it guarantees high purity and ultra-low endotoxin levels (<0.01 EU/mg), ensuring minimal interference in your experiments and making it highly suitable for a wide range of assays including ELISA, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and others. The Ultra Low Endotoxin format is specially formulated in phosphate-buffered saline to provide stability and maximize efficacy.
It is available in various sizes to meet the specific needs of your research projects. This antibody is designed to facilitate groundbreaking research by offering unmatched reliability and versatility. CTLA-4 is an inhibitory receptor found on T-cells that plays an important role in downregulating immune responses. By binding to CD80 and CD86 on antigen-presenting cells, CTLA-4 competes with the costimulatory receptor CD28, thus playing a crucial part in maintaining immune homeostasis and preventing autoimmune reactions. Elevate your research with the Anti-Mouse CTLA-4 [9H10] In Vivo Antibody - Ultra Low Endotoxin and make significant strides in understanding immune regulation and potential therapeutic approaches.

CTLA4 (Cytotoxic T-Lymphocyte Antigen 4) also known as CD152, is a protein which is expressed on the surface of Helper T cells and plays an important regulatory role in the immune system.1 CTLA4 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, expressed on the surface of Helper T cells. CTLA4 transmits an inhibitory signal to T cells.2,3 CTLA4 is potentially therapeutic in autoimmune diseases4, such as rheumatoid arthritis, HIV, autoimmune thyroid disease, multiple sclerosis and may also be useful during organ transplantation and cancer treatment. The 9H10 antibody has been shown to promote T cell co-stimulation by blocking CTLA-4 binding to the B7 co-receptors, allowing for CD28 binding.
