Description
Anti-Mouse CD278 (ICOS) In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin
Introducing the Anti-Mouse CD278 (ICOS) In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin from Assay Genie, a highly specific monoclonal antibody tailored for in vivo applications. This antibody targets the CD278 (Inducible T-cell COStimulator or ICOS) protein, pivotal in immune regulation and T-cell activation, making it indispensable for research in immunology and related fields.
With a rat IgG2a isotype, it guarantees high purity and low endotoxin levels (<1.0 EU/mg), ensuring suitability for ELISA, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and other assays. Available in multiple sizes, it is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline for enhanced stability and efficacy. Elevate your research with this dependable and versatile antibody. CD278 (ICOS) is a co-stimulatory molecule expressed on the surface of T-cells, playing a critical role in T-cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. It enhances immune responses by binding to its ligand, ICOSL, on antigen-presenting cells. This interaction is vital for the regulation of immune responses, making the Anti-Mouse CD278 (ICOS) antibody a powerful tool for studies in immune modulation and therapy.

CD278 (ICOS) belongs to the CD28 and CTLA-4 cell-surface receptor family. It forms homodimers (47-57kD) and enhances all basic T cell responses to a foreign antigen, specifically proliferation, secretion of lymphokines, up-regulation of molecules that mediate cell-cell interaction, and effective help for antibody secretion by B cells. ICOS signaling is also an important regulator for T cell homeostasis. ICOS plays a role in humoral immune response and is thought to have involvement in the development of Th2 cells and to play a protective role in inflammatory autoimmune diseases.
