Description
Anti-Human CD4 [OKT-4] In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin
Introducing the Anti-Human CD4 [OKT-4] In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin from Assay Genie, a highly specific monoclonal antibody tailored for in vivo research applications. This antibody accurately targets the CD4 protein, which is integral to the immune response, making it an invaluable tool for studies in immunology and other related disciplines.
With a mouse IgG2b kappa isotype, the Anti-Human CD4 [OKT-4] ensures exceptional purity and minimal endotoxin levels (<1.0 EU/mg), positioning it as an excellent choice for ELISA, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and other sensitive assays. The antibody is available in multiple sizes to fit various experimental needs and is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline to guarantee stability and performance. CD4 is a critical glycoprotein located on the surface of immune cells, including T-helper cells, monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells. It plays a pivotal role in the immune system by facilitating the activation of T-cells through its interaction with major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II molecules. Elevate your research with the reliable and versatile Anti-Human CD4 [OKT-4] In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin from Assay Genie. ---

CD4 is a 55 kD single-chain type I transmembrane glycoprotein and a member of the Ig superfamily. It is involved in the recognition of MHC class II molecules. Furthermore, CD4 is the primary receptor for HIV. CD4 initiates the early phase of T-cell activation via its association with the T-cell receptor complex and protein tyrosine kinase, Lck. In addition, CD4 functions as a mediator of direct neuronal damage in infectious and immune-mediated diseases of the central nervous system.
