Introducing the Anti-Human CD28 In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin from Assay Genie, a highly specific monoclonal antibody designed for in vivo applications. This antibody targets the CD28 protein, a critical co-stimulatory molecule involved in T-cell activation and survival, making it indispensable for research in immunology and related fields.
With a mouse IgG1 isotype, it provides high purity and low endotoxin levels (<1.0 EU/mg), ensuring optimal performance in ELISA, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and other assays. Available in various sizes, it is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline for enhanced stability and efficacy. Elevate your research with this reliable and versatile antibody. CD28 is a surface protein expressed on T-cells, which plays a crucial role in the immune system by providing co-stimulatory signals necessary for T-cell proliferation, cytokine production, and survival. Its interaction with ligands B7-1 (CD80) and B7-2 (CD86) on antigen-presenting cells (APCs) is vital for effective immune responses, making it a key focus in immunological research and therapeutic development.

This antibody is stable for at least one week when stored sterile at 2-8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at –80°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
CD28 is a 44 kD glycoprotein and a member of the Ig superfamily. In its capacity as a costimulatory receptor, CD28 produces co-stimulatory signals necessary for T cell activation and survival. CD28 is the only B7 receptor constitutively expressed on naive T cells. Without having this CD28/B7 interaction, T cells will fail to respond to their specific antigen when coming in contact with an MHC/antigen complex and thus, are said to be anergic.
