The HOXA9 Monoclonal Antibody (CAB19257) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the HOXA9 protein, a transcription factor involved in hematopoiesis and leukemia. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity towards human samples, making it an excellent choice for applications such as Western blot and immunohistochemistry.HOXA9 is known for its role in normal development and malignant transformation of hematopoietic cells, making it a target of interest in cancer research.
By targeting the HOXA9 protein, researchers can gain insights into the mechanisms underlying leukemia and potentially identify novel therapeutic targets for the treatment of hematological malignancies. With its reliable performance and versatility in various experimental settings, the HOXA9 Monoclonal Antibody (CAB19257) is a valuable asset for scientists investigating the function and regulation of HOXA9 in both normal and disease states.

In vertebrates, the genes encoding the class of transcription factors called homeobox genes are found in clusters named A, B, C, and D on four separate chromosomes. Expression of these proteins is spatially and temporally regulated during embryonic development. This gene is part of the A cluster on chromosome 7 and encodes a DNA-binding transcription factor which may regulate gene expression, morphogenesis, and differentiation. This gene is highly similar to the abdominal-B (Abd-B) gene of Drosophila. A specific translocation event which causes a fusion between this gene and the NUP98 gene has been associated with myeloid leukemogenesis. Read-through transcription exists between this gene and the upstream homeobox A10 (HOXA10) gene.
