The Anti-H3Q5Ser Antibody (CAB20210) is a highly specific and sensitive tool for researchers studying post-translational modifications of histone H3. This antibody, generated in rabbits, is optimized for use in various applications, including Western blot and immunohistochemistry. By targeting the H3Q5Ser modification, this antibody provides valuable insights into chromatin remodeling, gene expression regulation, and epigenetic mechanisms.Histone H3 is a core component of nucleosomes, playing a crucial role in DNA packaging and gene expression. The phosphorylation of H3 at the Q5 residue is known to regulate chromatin dynamics and gene transcription.
The Anti-H3Q5Ser Antibody allows for the detection and quantification of this modification, enabling researchers to elucidate its functional significance in processes such as cell differentiation, development, and disease.By studying the impact of H3Q5Ser phosphorylation on chromatin structure and function, researchers can gain a better understanding of epigenetic regulation and potential implications for therapeutic interventions targeting aberrant histone modifications. The Anti-H3Q5Ser Antibody represents a valuable tool for advancing the field of epigenetics and uncovering novel insights into gene regulation mechanisms.

Histones are basic nuclear proteins that are responsible for the nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber in eukaryotes. This structure consists of approximately 146 bp of DNA wrapped around a nucleosome, an octamer composed of pairs of each of the four core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4). The chromatin fiber is further compacted through the interaction of a linker histone, H1, with the DNA between the nucleosomes to form higher order chromatin structures. This gene is intronless and encodes a replication-dependent histone that is a member of the histone H3 family. Transcripts from this gene lack polyA tails; instead, they contain a palindromic termination element. This gene is found in the large histone gene cluster on chromosome 6p22-p21.3.
