The Cenexin1 ODF2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB3607) is a crucial tool for researchers studying Cenexin1 ODF2, a protein involved in centriole biogenesis and ciliogenesis. This antibody is specifically raised against Cenexin1 ODF2 and is highly reactive with human samples, making it a valuable tool for immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry applications. Cenexin1 ODF2 is essential for the formation and function of centrioles, which play a critical role in cell division and cilia assembly. Dysregulation of Cenexin1 ODF2 has been linked to various diseases, including ciliopathies and cancer.
By using this antibody, researchers can gain insights into the role of Cenexin1 ODF2 in these diseases and potentially identify new therapeutic targets. With its high specificity and sensitivity, the Cenexin1 ODF2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB3607) is a valuable tool for scientists working in the fields of cell biology, developmental biology, and cancer research. Its ability to detect Cenexin1 ODF2 in various cell types and tissues makes it an essential reagent for understanding the functions of this important protein.

The outer dense fibers are cytoskeletal structures that surround the axoneme in the middle piece and principal piece of the sperm tail. The fibers function in maintaining the elastic structure and recoil of the sperm tail as well as in protecting the tail from shear forces during epididymal transport and ejaculation. Defects in the outer dense fibers lead to abnormal sperm morphology and infertility. This gene encodes one of the major outer dense fiber proteins. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. The longer transcripts, also known as 'Cenexins', encode proteins with a C-terminal extension that are differentially targeted to somatic centrioles and thought to be crucial for the formation of microtubule organizing centers.
