The CDC23 Monoclonal Antibody (CAB6025) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and is optimized for use in Western blot applications. By targeting the CDC23 protein, this antibody allows for accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an essential component for studies related to cell division and cancer research.CDC23, also known as cell division cycle protein 23, is essential for proper progression through the cell cycle and is involved in the regulation of cell growth and division.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

The protein encoded by this gene shares strong similarity with Saccharomyces cerevisiae Cdc23, a protein essential for cell cycle progression through the G2/M transition. This protein is a component of anaphase-promoting complex (APC), which is composed of eight protein subunits and highly conserved in eukaryotic cells. APC catalyzes the formation of cyclin B-ubiquitin conjugate that is responsible for the ubiquitin-mediated proteolysis of B-type cyclins. This protein and 3 other members of the APC complex contain the TPR (tetratricopeptide repeat), a protein domain important for protein-protein interaction.
