The Anti-CD70 Antibody (CAB20589) from AssayGenie is a valuable tool for researchers studying the CD70 molecule, a protein involved in immune response and regulation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and is suitable for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the CD70 protein, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of CD70 in various cell types, making it ideal for research in immunology and cancer.
CD70, also known as CD27 ligand, is a key player in immune activation and regulation. It is involved in the stimulation of T-cells and the promotion of immune responses. Research on CD70 is important for understanding its role in diseases such as cancer, autoimmune disorders, and chronic inflammatory conditions. This antibody provides researchers with a tool to further investigate the function of CD70 and its potential as a therapeutic target.

The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine that belongs to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family. This cytokine is a ligand for TNFRSF27/CD27. It is a surface antigen on activated, but not on resting, T and B lymphocytes. It induces proliferation of costimulated T cells, enhances the generation of cytolytic T cells, and contributes to T cell activation. This cytokine is also reported to play a role in regulating B-cell activation, cytotoxic function of natural killer cells, and immunoglobulin sythesis.
