The Anti-CD26 Antibody (CAB4252) is a vital tool for research involving the CD26 protein, which is a cell surface molecule known for its diverse functions in immune regulation, cell adhesion, and signaling pathways. This polyclonal antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is specifically validated for use in Western blot applications.By targeting the CD26 protein, this antibody allows for accurate detection and analysis of CD26 expression in a variety of cell types, making it ideal for studies in immunology, cancer research, and other related fields. CD26 is involved in various cellular processes, including T-cell activation, apoptosis, and migration, making it a key target for research into diseases like cancer, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory conditions.
Understanding the role of CD26 in immune regulation and disease pathology is essential for developing targeted therapies that can modulate immune responses and potentially treat a wide range of conditions. With its high reactivity and specificity, the Anti-CD26 Antibody (CAB4252) is a valuable tool for researchers looking to further explore the functions of CD26 and its implications for human health.

A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 667-766 of human CD26/DPP4 (P27487).
The DPP4 gene encodes dipeptidyl peptidase 4, which is identical to adenosine deaminase complexing protein-2, and to the T-cell activation antigen CD26. It is an intrinsic type II transmembrane glycoprotein and a serine exopeptidase that cleaves X-proline dipeptides from the N-terminus of polypeptides. Dipeptidyl peptidase 4 is highly involved in glucose and insulin metabolism, as well as in immune regulation. This protein was shown to be a functional receptor for Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV), and protein modeling suggests that it may play a similar role with SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for COVID-19.
