Additionally, targeting BRD4 with small molecule inhibitors has shown promise in treating various types of cancer and inflammatory diseases.Overall, the BRD4 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB18840) is a valuable tool for researchers seeking to uncover the roles and therapeutic potential of the BRD4 protein in various disease states. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it an indispensable reagent for studying BRD4 function in both normal and diseased cells.
Product Name:
BRD4 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB18840
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 700-794 of human BRD4 (NP_001317313.1).
The protein encoded by this gene is homologous to the murine protein MCAP, which associates with chromosomes during mitosis, and to the human RING3 protein, a serine/threonine kinase. Each of these proteins contains two bromodomains, a conserved sequence motif which may be involved in chromatin targeting. This gene has been implicated as the chromosome 19 target of translocation t(15;19)(q13;p13.1), which defines an upper respiratory tract carcinoma in young people. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described.
