Annexin A5/Annexin V Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB9262)
The Annexin V Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB9262) is a specialized tool for researchers studying Annexin V, a protein involved in the regulation of apoptosis and cell signaling pathways. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been extensively validated for use in Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications.Annexin V is a key player in the process of programmed cell death, serving as a marker for apoptotic cells. By targeting Annexin V with this antibody, researchers can accurately detect and analyze apoptotic cells in various experimental settings, providing valuable insights into cell death mechanisms and signaling pathways.
The role of Annexin V in apoptosis makes it a crucial molecule to study in the fields of cell biology, cancer research, and drug development. Understanding the intricate mechanisms of cell death and survival regulated by Annexin V can lead to the discovery of novel therapeutic approaches for diseases characterized by dysfunctional cell death processes. With its high specificity and sensitivity, the Annexin V Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB9262) is an indispensable tool for advancing research in apoptosis and cell signaling.

The Annexin 5 gene spans 29 kb containing 13 exons, and encodes a single transcript of approximately 1.6 kb and a protein product with a molecular weight of about 35 kDa.The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the annexin family of calcium-dependent phospholipid binding proteins some of which have been implicated in membrane-related events along exocytotic and endocytotic pathways. Annexin 5 is a phospholipase A2 and protein kinase C inhibitory protein with calcium channel activity and a potential role in cellular signal transduction, inflammation, growth and differentiation. Annexin 5 has also been described as placental anticoagulant protein I, vascular anticoagulant-alpha, endonexin II, lipocortin V, placental protein 4 and anchorin CII. Polymorphisms in this gene have been implicated in various obstetric complications.
