The ANKHD1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB14902) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the ANKHD1 protein, a critical regulator of gene expression and cell growth. This antibody, produced in rabbits, shows high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to ANKHD1, researchers can accurately detect and analyze this protein in various cell types, making it ideal for studies in cell biology and cancer research.
ANKHD1, also known as Ankyrin repeat and KH domain-containing protein 1, is involved in multiple cellular processes such as transcriptional regulation and signal transduction. Dysregulation of ANKHD1 has been linked to various diseases including cancer, making it an attractive target for therapeutic interventions. By gaining a deeper understanding of ANKHD1 function, researchers can potentially identify novel treatment strategies for cancer and other related disorders.
Product Name:
ANKHD1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB14902
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1620-1800 of human ANKHD1 (NP_060217.1).
This gene encodes a protein with multiple ankyrin repeat domains and a single KH-domain. The protein is thought to function as a scaffolding protein, and it may be involved in the regulation of caspases and thereby play an antiapoptotic role in cell survival. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants, one of which generates a fusion transcript (MASK-BP3) with the downstream eIF4E-binding protein 3 (EIF4EBP3) gene, resulting in a protein comprised of the ANKHD1 sequence for the majority of the protein and a different C-terminus due to an alternate reading frame for the EIF4EBP3 segments.
