The Angiomotin Polyclonal Antibody (CAB8075) is a valuable tool for researchers studying Angiomotin, a key protein involved in regulating cell proliferation, migration, and angiogenesis. This antibody, produced in rabbits, has high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to Angiomotin, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of the protein in a variety of cell types.Angiomotin is known to play a crucial role in the formation of blood vessels and has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer. Its function in promoting cell growth and migration makes it a target of interest for researchers studying tumor development and metastasis.
Understanding the mechanisms by which Angiomotin influences these processes is essential for developing targeted therapies for cancer and other angiogenesis-related disorders.Overall, the Angiomotin Polyclonal Antibody is an essential tool for scientists investigating the role of Angiomotin in cellular function and disease progression. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it ideal for studies in cell biology, cancer biology, and vascular biology.

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-300 of human AMOT (NP_573572.1).
This gene belongs to the motin family of angiostatin binding proteins characterized by conserved coiled-coil domains and C-terminal PDZ binding motifs. The encoded protein is expressed predominantly in endothelial cells of capillaries as well as larger vessels of the placenta where it may mediate the inhibitory effect of angiostatin on tube formation and the migration of endothelial cells toward growth factors during the formation of new blood vessels. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
