Description
ALDOC Monoclonal Antibody [PAT2E11AT] (CPAB0222)
The Aldoc Polyclonal Antibody (CPAB0222) is specially designed for researchers studying Aldoc, a key enzyme involved in glycolysis and metabolic regulation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to Aldoc protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an essential tool for research in metabolism, cancer, and other related fields.Aldoc, also known as Aldolase C, plays a crucial role in the glycolytic pathway by catalyzing the conversion of fructose-1,6-bisphosphate to glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate and dihydroxyacetone phosphate. This enzyme is essential for energy production and is often dysregulated in cancer cells, making it a promising target for cancer therapy research.
Understanding the function of Aldoc can provide valuable insights into metabolic dysregulation in cancer and other diseases, paving the way for the development of novel therapeutic interventions. The Aldoc Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers looking to investigate the role of Aldoc in cellular metabolism, cancer progression, and other biological processes. Its high specificity and reliability make it an ideal choice for Western blot analysis, allowing for accurate detection and quantification of Aldoc protein levels in various experimental settings.

Background: | Aldolase C Fructose-Bisphosphate (ALDOC) belongs to the class I fructose-bisphosphate aldolase family. ALDOC is a glycolytic enzyme which catalyzes the reversible aldol cleavage of fructose-1,6-biphosphate and fructose 1-phosphate to dihydroxyacetone phosphate and either glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate or glyceraldehydes respectively. ALDOC is expressed exclusively in the hippocampus and Purkinje cells of the brain. |
Synonyms: | Fructose-bisphosphate aldolase C, Brain-type aldolase, ALDOC, ALDC. |
Storage Buffer: | For periods up to 1 month store at 4°C, for longer periods of time, store at -20°C. Prevent freeze thaw cycles. |
