The AHR Polyclonal Antibody (CAB1451) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor (AHR), a transcription factor involved in various biological processes including cell growth, differentiation, and immune response. This antibody, produced in rabbits, has high specificity and sensitivity for detecting AHR protein in human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot applications. The AHR protein is known to play a key role in the regulation of gene expression in response to environmental toxins and pollutants. It also has important functions in immune regulation, inflammation, and metabolic processes.
Dysfunction of AHR has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and respiratory diseases.By using the AHR Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can better understand the role of AHR in different cell types and tissues, leading to insights into its potential therapeutic applications. This antibody is a valuable tool for studies in toxicology, immunology, and cancer research, providing crucial information for the development of novel targeted therapies.
Product Name:
AHR Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

CAB1451
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 619-848 of human AHR (NP_001612.1).
The protein encoded by this gene is a ligand-activated helix-loop-helix transcription factor involved in the regulation of biological responses to planar aromatic hydrocarbons. This receptor has been shown to regulate xenobiotic-metabolizing enzymes such as cytochrome P450. Before ligand binding, the encoded protein is sequestered in the cytoplasm; upon ligand binding, this protein moves to the nucleus and stimulates transcription of target genes.
