The AFLE Purified Anti-Mouse CD274 (PD-L1) Antibody 10F.9G2 is a vital tool for researchers investigating immune checkpoint pathways and immune regulation in mice. This antibody specifically targets the CD274 (PD-L1) protein, which is known for its role in suppressing immune responses and promoting immune tolerance.PD-L1, a key player in the PD-1/PD-L1 pathway, is crucial for maintaining immune balance and preventing excessive immune activation. By binding to PD-1 on T cells, PD-L1 inhibits T cell proliferation and cytokine production, thus playing a crucial role in immune evasion by cancer cells and other immune-related disorders. The AFLE Anti-Mouse CD274 (PD-L1) Antibody 10F.9G2 is purified and highly specific for mouse samples, allowing for accurate detection and quantification of PD-L1 expression in various cell types and tissues.
This antibody is validated for use in a range of applications, including flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and Western blotting, making it an essential tool for studies focused on immune checkpoint blockade, cancer immunotherapy, and autoimmune diseases in mouse models.By targeting PD-L1, researchers can gain valuable insights into the mechanisms of immune suppression and develop novel therapeutic strategies to modulate immune responses in conditions such as cancer, infectious diseases, and autoimmune disorders. The AFLE Anti-Mouse CD274 (PD-L1) Antibody 10F.9G2 offers reliable and specific detection of PD-L1, facilitating in-depth studies of immune checkpoint pathways and their implications in disease pathogenesis.

Background:
CD274, also known as B7-H1 or programmed death ligand 1 (PD-L1), is a 40 kD type I transmembrane protein and a member of the B7 family within the immunoglobulin receptor superfamily. It is expressed on T cells, B cells, NK cells, dendritic cells, IFN-γ activated endothelial cells, and monocytes. B7-H1 is one of the ligands of PD-1. The interaction of B7-H1 with PD-1 plays an important role in the inhibition of T cell responses. Other studies have shown that B7-H1 is able to costimulate T cell growth and cytokine production. CD274 is involved in costimulation essential for T cell proliferation and production of IL-10 and IFN-γ, in an IL-2-dependent and a PD-1-independent manner. Its interaction with PD-1 inhibits T cell proliferation and cytokine production.
