The ADRA1B Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7872) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the adrenergic receptor alpha 1B (ADRA1B) protein. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific for ADRA1B in human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the ADRA1B protein, researchers can accurately detect and analyze this important receptor in various cell types.ADRA1B is a member of the adrenergic receptor family and plays a key role in regulating the body's response to adrenaline and noradrenaline. It is involved in physiological processes such as smooth muscle contraction, blood pressure regulation, and neurotransmission.
Dysregulation of ADRA1B has been implicated in various diseases, including hypertension, heart failure, and prostate cancer.By studying ADRA1B with the CAB7872 antibody, researchers can gain insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying these diseases and potentially identify new therapeutic targets. This antibody is a valuable tool for those conducting research in pharmacology, cardiology, oncology, and neuroscience.

Alpha-1-adrenergic receptors (alpha-1-ARs) are members of the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily. They activate mitogenic responses and regulate growth and proliferation of many cells. There are 3 alpha-1-AR subtypes: alpha-1A, -1B and -1D, all of which signal through the Gq/11 family of G-proteins and different subtypes show different patterns of activation. This gene encodes alpha-1B-adrenergic receptor, which induces neoplastic transformation when transfected into NIH 3T3 fibroblasts and other cell lines. Thus, this normal cellular gene is identified as a protooncogene. This gene comprises 2 exons and a single large intron of at least 20 kb that interrupts the coding region.
