The ADM Polyclonal Antibody (CAB8659) is a high-quality research tool designed for the detection of ADM, a protein involved in cardiovascular homeostasis and vasodilation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is specifically reactive with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.ADM, also known as adrenomedullin, plays a key role in the regulation of blood pressure, vascular tone, and inflammation. Its significance in cardiovascular function and disease pathology makes it a valuable target for research in cardiology, hypertension, and vascular biology.
By targeting ADM with this polyclonal antibody, researchers can accurately detect and analyze ADM levels in various biological samples, aiding in the study of cardiovascular diseases and potential therapeutic interventions.Overall, the ADM Polyclonal Antibody (CAB8659) offers researchers a reliable tool for investigating the role of ADM in cardiovascular health and disease, paving the way for advancements in the field of cardiovascular research.
Product Name:
ADM Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB8659
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Mouse
Immunogen:
A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 50-150 of human ADM (NP_001115.1).
The protein encoded by this gene is a preprohormone which is cleaved to form two biologically active peptides, adrenomedullin and proadrenomedullin N-terminal 20 peptide. Adrenomedullin is a 52 aa peptide with several functions, including vasodilation, regulation of hormone secretion, promotion of angiogenesis, and antimicrobial activity. The antimicrobial activity is antibacterial, as the peptide has been shown to kill E. coli and S. aureus at low concentration.
