The ADA Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB5151) is a cutting-edge research tool designed for the detection and analysis of ADA, an essential enzyme involved in purine metabolism. This antibody, developed using innovative rabbit monoclonal technology, demonstrates high specificity and sensitivity towards human ADA samples, making it a reliable choice for various research applications.ADA, also known as adenosine deaminase, plays a crucial role in maintaining purine balance and nucleic acid metabolism in the body. Dysregulation of ADA activity has been linked to various diseases, including immunodeficiency disorders and certain types of cancer. By targeting ADA with this monoclonal antibody, researchers can study the enzyme's expression levels and localization in different cell types, providing valuable insights into its functional significance.
Whether investigating ADA's role in immune system function, nucleotide metabolism, or disease pathogenesis, the ADA Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB5151) offers a powerful tool for advancing scientific research. Its versatility and reliability in techniques such as Western blotting and immunohistochemistry make it an indispensable asset for studies in biochemistry, molecular biology, and biomedicine. Unlock the secrets of ADA biology with this high-quality antibody and pave the way for breakthrough discoveries in your field.
This gene encodes an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of adenosine to inosine in the purine catabolic pathway. Various mutations have been described for this gene and have been linked to human diseases related to impaired immune function such as severe combined immunodeficiency disease (SCID) which is the result of a deficiency in the ADA enzyme. In ADA-deficient individuals there is a marked depletion of T, B, and NK lymphocytes, and consequently, a lack of both humoral and cellular immunity. Conversely, elevated levels of this enzyme are associated with congenital hemolytic anemia.
