The Acetyl-Histone H3 (K4) Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (CAB17019) is a valuable tool for researchers studying histone modifications and their impact on gene expression regulation. This antibody is raised in rabbits and is highly specific for acetylated histone H3 at lysine 4 in human samples. Histone H3 acetylation at lysine 4 is associated with active gene transcription, making this antibody essential for studies focusing on gene regulation, chromatin structure, and epigenetic modifications. Validated for use in Western blot applications, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of acetylated histone H3.
With its high reactivity and specificity, the Acetyl-Histone H3 (K4) Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody is an ideal choice for researchers in the fields of epigenetics, molecular biology, and cancer research. By targeting acetylated histone H3 at lysine 4, this antibody allows for precise investigation into the role of histone modifications in various cellular processes and disease states.

Histones are basic nuclear proteins that are responsible for the nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber in eukaryotes. Nucleosomes consist of approximately 146 bp of DNA wrapped around a histone octamer composed of pairs of each of the four core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4). The chromatin fiber is further compacted through the interaction of a linker histone, H1, with the DNA between the nucleosomes to form higher order chromatin structures. This gene is intronless and encodes a replication-dependent histone that is a member of the histone H3 family. Transcripts from this gene lack polyA tails; instead, they contain a palindromic termination element. This gene is located separately from the other H3 genes that are in the histone gene cluster on chromosome 6p22-p21.3.
