The ACADVL Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7865) is a valuable tool for researchers studying ACADVL, an enzyme involved in fatty acid metabolism. This antibody, developed in rabbits, has high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By targeting the ACADVL protein, researchers can detect and analyze its expression in various cell types, making it ideal for studies in metabolism, lipidomics, and mitochondrial disorders.ACADVL plays a crucial role in the breakdown of long-chain fatty acids for energy production, making it a key player in cellular metabolism. Dysregulation of ACADVL activity has been linked to metabolic disorders such as fatty acid oxidation disorders and mitochondrial dysfunction.
By studying the expression and function of ACADVL, researchers can gain insights into the mechanisms underlying these diseases and potentially identify therapeutic targets for intervention.Overall, the ACADVL Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7865) is a valuable tool for researchers investigating the role of ACADVL in cellular metabolism and its implications for human health. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it a reliable choice for studies aimed at understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying metabolic disorders and developing targeted therapies.
Product Name:
ACADVL Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB7865
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-140 of human ACADVL (NP_000009.1).
The protein encoded by this gene is targeted to the inner mitochondrial membrane where it catalyzes the first step of the mitochondrial fatty acid beta-oxidation pathway. This acyl-Coenzyme A dehydrogenase is specific to long-chain and very-long-chain fatty acids. A deficiency in this gene product reduces myocardial fatty acid beta-oxidation and is associated with cardiomyopathy. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
Purification Method:
Affinity purification
Gene ID:
37
Storage Buffer:
Store at -20℃. Avoid freeze / thaw cycles.Buffer: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide,50% glycerol,pH7.3.
Western blot analysis of extracts of various cell lines, using ACADVL antibody (CAB7865) at 1:1000 dilution.Secondary antibody: HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) (CABS014) at 1:10000 dilution.Lysates/proteins: 25μg per lane.Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST.Detection: ECL Basic Kit (AbGn00020).Exposure time: 5s.
