The ABCG1 Antibody (CAB4328) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, shows high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for Western blot applications. By binding to the ABCG1 protein, researchers can accurately detect and analyze its expression in various cell types, making it an essential tool for studies in lipid biology and cardiovascular disease research.ABCG1 plays a critical role in mediating cholesterol efflux from cells and maintaining cellular lipid balance, making it a key player in the development of atherosclerosis and other cardiovascular conditions.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IHC-P, ELISA, IF-P applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This protein is a member of the White subfamily. It is involved in macrophage cholesterol and phospholipids transport, and may regulate cellular lipid homeostasis in other cell types. Six alternative splice variants have been identified.
