The Aladin Polyclonal Antibody (CAB6427) is a vital tool for researchers studying the protein Aladin, a key component of the nuclear pore complex involved in nucleocytoplasmic transport. This antibody, produced in rabbits, demonstrates high specificity and sensitivity in detecting Aladin in a variety of samples, making it ideal for use in Western blotting applications.Aladin plays a crucial role in regulating the transport of molecules between the nucleus and cytoplasm, making it essential for various cellular processes such as gene expression and protein synthesis. Dysregulation of Aladin has been implicated in diseases such as Alacrima-Achalasia-Adrenal Insufficiency Neurologic Disorder (AAA syndrome), highlighting the importance of studying this protein in both normal and pathological conditions.
By utilizing the Aladin Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can further explore the functions and mechanisms of Aladin in cellular transport processes, potentially leading to the development of targeted therapies for diseases associated with Aladin dysfunction. This antibody is a valuable tool for studies in cell biology, molecular biology, and medicine, providing insights into the role of Aladin in health and disease.
Product Name:
AAAS Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 287-546 of human AAAS (NP_056480.1).
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the WD-repeat family of regulatory proteins and may be involved in normal development of the peripheral and central nervous system. The encoded protein is part of the nuclear pore complex and is anchored there by NDC1. Defects in this gene are a cause of achalasia-addisonianism-alacrima syndrome (AAAS), also called triple-A syndrome or Allgrove syndrome. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
