The 4-1BB (CD137) Monoclonal Antibody is a key tool for research involving the CD137 protein, a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily. This antibody, produced through hybridoma technology, is highly specific to human CD137 and has been validated for use in various applications, including Western blot and immunohistochemistry.CD137 plays a crucial role in the regulation of immune responses, particularly in the activation and expansion of T cells. Its expression is upregulated on activated T cells, making it a valuable marker for monitoring immune activation and identifying potential therapeutic targets for diseases such as cancer, autoimmune disorders, and infectious diseases.
By using the 4-1BB (CD137) Monoclonal Antibody, researchers can effectively detect and analyze CD137 expression in different cell types, providing insights into its function in immune regulation and its potential as a target for immunotherapy. This antibody is an essential tool for studies in immunology, oncology, and other fields where understanding CD137's role in immune responses is critical.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. This receptor contributes to the clonal expansion, survival, and development of T cells. It can also induce proliferation in peripheral monocytes, enhance T cell apoptosis induced by TCR/CD3 triggered activation, and regulate CD28 co-stimulation to promote Th1 cell responses. The expression of this receptor is induced by lymphocyte activation. TRAF adaptor proteins have been shown to bind to this receptor and transduce the signals leading to activation of NF-kappaB.
